Welcome to TWOG!

TW@G Crew

It’s finally here!  This Week @ GSU (TWAG), the student campus news program at Governors State University (GSU), now has its very own web site!  Over the past two years, our 90-second news update program has broadcast on the campus monitors, YouTube, and the university’s website.  Now, we’re online.

If you want to stay informed, updated and in-the-know about all things related to GSU, and from a student’s perspective, visit us at http://thisweekatgsu.wix.com/thisweekatgsu. There you will find information about the crew and hosts, TWAG episodes, bloopers, pictures from behind the scenes, events for each of the four colleges, and this TWOG!

Guiding you on this journalistic TWAGtastic blogging voyage is yours truly!  My name is Arika Rogers and I am the newest member of Team TWAG, hired specifically to provide you with in-depth and focused coverage of campus-related events.   Here you will find reviews of special events, profiles of professors, and other stories all happening around GSU.  But I don’t want to do all the talking on this blog.  I want to hear from you.  If you have any suggestions, comments, or ideas for stories that you would like me to blog about, feel free to leave a comment down below, or email me at thisweek@govst.edu.

We know students are busy, but still want to stay connected to many of the rich events and resources available to students on campus.  So why not let us be one of the many ways you stay connected to GSU?

I hope that you enjoy, and until next time…
